About Us

Kalaripayattu is one of the oldest martial arts forms in India and the world. The Kadathanadan Sangam was established by Sreenivasan Gurukkal, Raghavan Gurukkal, Dhamu Gurukkal, and Valappil Karunan Gurukkal in 1949 in Vadakara, Kerala. Sreenivasan Gurukkal brought the sangam to Wayanad in 1962.
